    Commences Palermo – October 2018.
     Day 1: PALERMO - MONREALE
    Arrival on the first time of afternoon.. max 1 pmmeeting point with bus and visit of Monreale Cathetral (no guide and not escort)The cathedral of Monreale, which was built after the Palatine Chapel in Palermo and after the cathedral of Cefalù, represents an arrival point in a century characterised by continental insular Norman constructions.     Day 2: CEFALU

    Day 4: THE PARK OF NEBRODI AND ALCANTARA
    Parco dei Nebrodi, an area over 85,000 hectares, guarantees to be the largest protected area in all of Sicily, occupying a large territory that runs from St Stephen's di Camastra to the northern slopes of Etna, and incorporating as many as 24 municipalities.It is a very rich and impressive natural landscape, with Mount Soro standing as the highest peak in the park at 1850 meters: from here the view is breath-taking, with Mount Etna and the Aeolian Islands behind, which can be seen looking north.     Day 5: ETNA AND TAORMINA

Established in 1987 by the Region of Sicily, Mount Etna Park contains many species of plants and animals, 20 municipalities and a natural setting of exceptional beauty. Departure to Taormina. Visit of Taormina which is most popular summer destination, a chic resort town beloved of holidaying high-rollers and visiting celebs. And while it is unashamedly touristy and has a main street lined with high-end designer shops, the town remains an achinglybeautiful spot with gorgeous medieval churches, a stunning Greek theatre and sweeping views.     Day 6: VILLA ARMERINA & AGRIGENTO
    Departure to Agrigento. During this trip in the heart of Sicily you can visit Caltanissetta. The city offers sites of both historical and naturalistic interest as well as a much appreciated cuisine where especially renowned is the sweet almond torrone.
    STOP IN VILLA ARMERINA (Taormina- 2 Hours) - entrance tkt not included). The Villa Romana del Casale (Sicilian: Villa Rumana dû Casali) is a Roman villa urbana built in the first quarter of the 4th century and located about 3 km outside the town of Piazza Armerina. It contains the richest, largest and most complex collection of Roman mosaics in the world and has been designated as one of 49 UNESCO sites. Departure to CALTANISSETA (60 KM- 1 HOUR) The city's roots are sowed deep in history, showcasing archaeological finds and splendid castles scattered all over its territory. Its history has undergone numerous transitions between the Greek, Roman, Norman, Swabian, Anjou, Aragonese and Castilian rules - all having left theirimprint.     Day 7: SELINUTE- PALERMO
    Breakfast and visit of Agrigento.In the afternoon, visit of Valle dei Templi, one of southern Europe's most compelling archaeological sites.The highlight is the stunning Tempio della Concordia, one of the bestpreserved Greek temples in existence and one of a series built on a ridge to act as beacons for homecoming sailors.
