  • Are you ready for the wildlife adventure of a lifetime? Come with us as we explore South Africa's most famous national park and introduce you to its untamed wildlife. We'll meet in the City of Gold and make our way straight to the Kruger National Park. Here you will have plenty of time to go on safaris and formal game drives to see the Big 5! Other animals like cheetahs, antelope and wild dogs also abound. You'll sleep in comfortable bush huts and enjoy delicious local food prepared the traditional way. There will also be lots of time to explore by yourself. Next, we're off to the Panorama Route in the Mpumalanga province. Here we will see the Blyde River Canyon and Bourke's Luck potholes. After visiting Graskop, we head back to Johannesburg. Keen travellers can stay on to explore some more, while the others head home. Sound good? Let’s go!

  • DAY 1: Johannesburg – Nelspruit
    Today we travel east to Nelspruit and settle in at the Bundu Lodge on the edge of the Kruger Game Reserve. Tonight we have a briefing, and included dinner under the African sky.
    Included experiences: Meet up with your tour leader and fellow travellers for briefing. Dinner under the stars.

    DAY 2: Kruger National Park 
    Today we have a full-day game drive in Kruger National Park. Our vehicle makes it easy to spot animals - maybe the Big Five today. Kruger National Park is very big and you may see animals in their natural habitat including leopard, lion, elephant, cheetah, wild dogs and rhino. Late this afternoon we make our way to our safari lodge on the western edge of the park, for a multi-night stay. Time for a relaxing swim in the pool and a relaxing drink before our included dinner.
    Included experiences: Kruger National Park game drive through the southern part of Kruger in our air-conditioned tour bus. Today's Kruger conservation fee is included in the tour price.

    DAY 3: Kruger National Park - Free day
    Today you have many choices for game drives embarking from the safari lodge, led by local wildlife specialists in open safari trucks. Your options include sunrise and/or sunset safaris that last about three hours. Or choose a full-day safari drive and spend the day driving in prime game viewing areas, stopping at various waterholes and rest camps. Keep your eyes peeled and your cameras at the ready, watching these stunning animals in the wild is truly an experience to remember. On return to the lodge, slip into the pool to cool down and relax before enjoying an included dinner. Optional excursions: Sunrise or Sunset Game Drive, Half day or Full Day Game Drive.

    DAY 4:Kruger National Park
    Today you have the choice of a half-day, sunset or sunrise safari, or stay at the lodge and relax by the pool. Tonight we have dinner at the lodge again, then we sit around the fire to swap safari stories and sip Amarula - a local liqueur made from marula fruit.
    Optional excursions: Sunrise or Sunset Game Drive, Half day or Full Day Game Drive.

    DAY 5:Three Rondawels, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon
    Today we start on the Panorama Route - a scenic area in the Mpumalanga province. See one of the largest Boabab trees, then to the Drakensberg escarpment to see the Blyde River Canyon from the famous Three Rondavels viewing point - named after a traditional round-shaped African homesteads - it is one of the major attractions of this area. , before we go to Bourke's Luck potholes - a natural water feature made up of hundreds of water scoured holes and pools. Return to Johannesburg for overnight, farewell dinner and drinks.
    Included experiences: Three Rondavels - spectacular viewpoint. Blyde River Canyon. Bourke’s Luck Potholes - Take a short walk to "nature's wishing well". Information centre visit to learn more about the natural history as well as the San people, the earliest inhabitants of this region. See the Lowveld of South Africa with the Kruger National Park and Mozambique in the far distance. Tonight feast on local cuisine from the Gauteng province as enjoy our farewell dinner together. Overnight in Johannesburg.

    DAY 6: Johannesburg
    The tour concludes after breakfast. If you onward travel arrangements today, a complementary airport transfer is offered to take you to Johannesburg International Airport.
