We invite you to join us on this amazing cruise & tour of a lifetime, exploring the highlights of South East Asia together.Tour and cruise from Singapore return, includes twin share centrally located hotel rooms and ocean view twin cabins, transfers, all meals on board plus special Welcome dinner, land based excursions and other included group activities. Our 17 day South East Asia Experience commencing in Singapore 23 February 2020 and 14 February 2021 and concludes back in Singapore. Experience the history and diverse cultures, exotic tastes and smells, plus the fabulous gardens and sights of Singapore, then on to Sabah for 2 days (formerly known as British North Borneo), - the home of the OrangUtan and other amazing wildlife, relics of WW2 and scenic highlights. We then set sail for Vietnam and Cambodia where we have 3 days before continuing our voyage of exploration to Thailand, where we visit Bangkok and Ko Samui.
MV Vasco de Gama named after the Portuguese explorer and the first European to reach India by sea (1497–1499). His initial voyage to India was the first to link Europe and Asia by an ocean route, connecting the Atlantic and the Indian oceans, thus the West with the Orient.
DAY 1: ARRIVE SINGAPORE.
Arrive at leisure and book into our centrally located hotel followed by a get together with fellow travellers.
DAY 2: GARDENS OF SINGAPORE
The Lion City of Sir Stamford Raffles is one of the most exciting cities in Asia and combines a range of cultures and experiences. Today we explore the fabulous Gardens by the Bay, the Botanic gardens and other highlights of Singapore before transferring to our cruise ship MV Vasco de Gama. B
DAYS 3 & 4: AT SEA
Time to relax and enjoy our on board facilities, relax, try your hand at trivia or visit the spa. B,L,D
DAY 5: SABAH
We arrive for our first of two days exploring Norther Borneo - the home of the Man of the Forest (the Orang Utan), rain forest and an amazing diversity of flora and fauna. including Kota Kinabalu (in the shadow of Kinabalu). B,L,D
DAY 6: SABAH
Today we visit Sandakan, famous for its colonial English links, tea houses, and relics from WW2, plus the water city bon stilts over the sea. B,L,D
DAYS 7 & 8: AT SEA
We cross the South China Sea from Sabah to continue our travels in Vietnam. B,L,D
DAY 9: VIETNAM
This morning we arrive in Phu My, the port for Ho Chi Minh City. Check out the Chu Chi Tunnels, French influences, the floating market, and other highlights of this vibrant city. B,L,D
DAY 10: VIETNAM - CAMBODIA
We depart Vietnam for Cambodia and Kampot. B,L,D
DAY 11 & 12: KAMPOT, CAMBODIA
We arrive in the river city of Kampot in Cambodia with its essences of colonial France and Cambodian friendliness, spice plantations, amazing value, wildlife and eco experiences. Optional Siem Reap excursion available. B,L,D
DAY 13: BANGKOK, LIAM CHABANG
Next is the amazing capital of Thailand including the Imperial Pace, Jade Buddha, pulsing markets and bargains galore or have a thrilling long boat ride on the Royal River. B,L,D
DAY 14: KO SAMUI
Known worldwide for its beautiful coconut palm lined beaches, coral reefs and lush rainforest or head inland to experience the Buddhist lifestyle. B,L,D
DAY 15: THAILAND - SINGAPORE
We depart Thailand for Singapore. B,L,D
DAYS 16: SINGAPORE
We return to Singapore to further explore this amazing city. B,L,D
DAY 17: SINGAPORE.
Tour ends and its time to head home. B
